October 25, 2023

The Ukrainian venture syndicate Toloka.vc has made its first investment of $1 million in Forta Health, an American medical service that uses artificial intelligence to assist in treating autism.

Founded in May 2023 by financier Taras Kyrychenko, businessman Oleksandr Kolb (Ukraine), and professional venture investor Igor Shoifot (USA), Toloka.vc has quickly established itself in the venture capital scene.

Forta Health, a telemedicine platform focused on treating autism in children, has demonstrated remarkable growth, achieving an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $8 million within eight months (as of May 2023). The startup has also secured $20 million from Insight Venture Partners, the world’s largest venture fund.

Forta Health operates at the intersection of traditional medical services and cutting-edge technology. The platform directly connects patients with qualified medical specialists, streamlining the work process for providers, developing more cost-effective specialists for its platform, and linking all participants with insurance companies. Throughout all processes, the company leverages AI to maintain a competitive edge through data utilization.

Toloka's general partners affirm that the startup aligns perfectly with the syndicate's investment strategy. Forta Health shows consistent growth over six months, leverages technology, improves lives, and has significant potential for scaling in the U.S. and other developed markets where the demand for improved healthcare services is high.

The minimum investment in this deal was $5,000.

Currently, Toloka has around 500 investors and plans to offer one or two new projects for investment each month. To join Toloka's investors, you can fill out an application at www.toloka.vc.
